A fire broke out in a refuge in Northwest Poland killed 21 and made poor families homeless. This happened on April 13th at a two storey refuge building in Kamien Pomorski town where 77 people were staying. It is a 40 year old building build for Worker’s hostel. Many people were injured with bone fractures as they tried to jump forcefully from the building. The fire spread very fast and the parents threw their children to the fire fighters from the windows. The cause of the fire is yet to be identified. Prime Minister visited the town and President declared national mourning from the midnight.
